What happens to your file
It is opened by your browser, drawn with PDF.js and written with pdf-lib, both running in this tab. Nothing is sent to Mystya or anyone else, and the page keeps nothing once it is closed.
The file you download is a new PDF made from the pages you kept. Each page brings its text, images and web links. What belongs to the whole document stays behind: bookmarks, a fillable form, attachments, and any digital signature, which no change would leave valid anyway.
